In most Western and Northern European countries the cultural heritages are kept and taken care about with love, but there are countries as well which have more difficulties with their past. Romania is maybe one of them: old factory-buildings and houses are often completely abandoned or demolished, because they remind too much of the communist era. Romanian architect Corvin Cristian shows and proofs that it is possible to restore these buildings into useful and beautiful places. These pictures are from the Mecanic Bar in capital town Bucharest/Bucuresti (2011), which gives - through its industrial style - homage to machines and factory workers.
