Zen Living

Today I bought the new May-issue of the Flemish interior-magazine ´Actief Wonen´ and found several stunning home-interiors inside that show a lovely quality of ´Zen´ living. The most interesting about this magazine is that they present a good combination of different styles, design and lifestyle-ideas.

I do like this very stylish mix of old and new furniture: the antique wooden table with the famous white Panton-chairs around.

This home can be found in Antwerp/Belgium, where lives Elsie with her partner Yves and their Danish dog Nelson. They bought the cupboard in their hall from an antiques-shop and it has been sanded for a more modern and light look. Several lamps in their home are from the Dutch brand Zenza. the big white leather sofa with straight shapes in the livingroom is model ´Costa´ from interior-shop Okay and the kitchen was bought at Ikea.

A home in modern country and industrial style in French Normandy: an old farm which has been transformed into a pretty holidayhome. The original lamps in this Ikea-kitchen are designed by Frenchman José Esteves.

Sylvie - la maîtresse de maison - made the burlap-cushioncovers for the sofa and chairs and this special carpet (see picture up here), sewn together of vintage coffeebean-bags, all by herself.

So calm and beautiful!

My dream has been for a long time that someday i would live in a stone house and all the walls would be nicely rough!

Bedankt voor het vermelden van de klemspot van Tsé & Tsé associées. Is ook een erg populaire lamp. Ga door met het goede blogwerk!
